Hello,

I am afraid all this is new to me and I am really struggling to set up my 1TB Linkstation LS-CHLB35, firmware version 1.10. I can access this via my router using WebAdmin and have set up a new shared disk for my iTunes music.

I am using Mac OSX 10.6.4. and the iTunes library is on my iMac.

What I wish to do is to transfer all my music (and then movies and photos) to this NAS so that I can share it with my family and also free up space on my desktop.

This is the basic bit. I have googled, read the manual and the forums but cannot find how to transfer these files from my iMac to my NAS.

When I go on NASNavigator 2 and click open, LS-CHLB35 appears in Finder under shared, but when I drag the iTunes library folder to this it says there is insufficient space and only 4.71GB is available.

This does not make any sense as the drive is new and Web Admin tells me storage is at 0.0%.

Please can anyone help?

Thank you

AngelsAbys

In the web admin what is it saying the overall size of the disk is?  Please verify the disk is in the XFS format
