LinkStation Quad LS-QL - LED Flashes 7 times.

I bought this 1TB Linkstation Quad like a month ago. It was sitting in my cube, until couple of days ago. All the backs up where happening well and good. Yesterday I tried to move the device to server room. I shutdown NAS, then moved to server room - connected and turned it on. After some time , the Power LED started flashing red lights. On the web page, it said "System Performance is decreasing now". I dig in deeper to find that '117: Re-syncing 1 RAID Array" happening. I let it happen.

 

But the next the day I found that the system shutdown by itself (Note: Power button is in manual mode). Again I restarted the device, the same thing happened. I let the re-syncing happen, again the system shutdown before 100% of RAID re-synch. This time I restarted, did a disk check - now it comes up with two error 1) "114: Checking 1 RAID Array 2)"117: Re-syncing 1 RAID Array". Also I have this message "System Performance is decreasing now", on the web login. One more thing I see is HDD(RAID): Unformatted - in the software.

 

I counted the led flash many times: the count comes down to "7" all the time. Can anyone suggest me what to do? I would be more than happy is the solution does not involve formatting because in the past month I have a put some very important and huge data on it. Thanks

First contact your regional tech support and setup an RMA (if the unit is in warranty) and let them know you need to send your device to get the data recovered.  Second, contact a data recovery specialist due to the HDD(RAID): Unformatted message on the interface.  Then after getting the data recovered follow through with the RMA process.  The RMA process does differ from region to region so I would get details from your regional tech support first.
