I've just reinstalled my os windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 3, on my notebook (Compaqu Evo N800v) but unable to access my buffalo ministation when connect it to my notebook.

Ministation - HD-PF 320U2/WH-AP

The ministation was encrypted with password previously. After reinstalled the os, it can detect the ministation as mass storage but no drive letter was assigned. Tried to manual assigned a drive letter in the disc management utility from windows but not able cause the function was not active.

Please advice how to connect the ministation to my notebook.

Thank you

You will need to reinstall the secure lockware software onto the PC again (assuming it is this software you used to encrpt the drive)

You did not mention if you had done this or not.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
