I removed the Recycle Bin from several large shared folders and want to do a defragment to get the disk file space more optimized. Is there a Buffalo utility I suppose to use for this. Or can I use standards Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit disk management tools to do this?

Its a linux based OS / file system and does not need to be defragged like Windows.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

davo,

thanks for that info. I was looking at my shared folders and noticed that the size of the trashbox in one of my shared folders is 460GB while the usable data is just 9.5 GB. Do you know what's going on! I tried to delete the trash box after disabling it but it was taking forever so I guess I'll have to do it overnight!
