Hi,

I hope you guys can help me out.

After many years of faithful service my Terastation Home Server, HS-D1.0TGGL/RS, has developed a fault. I am unsure of the firmware version.

Last night we had a power failure, usually the Home Server starts up fine. This time on power up the Status and Access leds flash on green, the power light flashes in green. The diag and Link/Act leds are un-illuminated.

After a period of time, I assume after a disk check the status leds are solid green, along with the power, and the diag led is flashing in red 6 times with a pause before repeating. The Link/Act led is un-illuminated.

The home-server cannot be seen from a web browser or from an explorer window.

Cheers,

The best course of action would be go to the downloads section, download the latest firmware and try and flash the firmware onto the unit. A power outage could have caused the firmware to be currupted. You can use the nas navigator to try and discover the unit as well.

Will give this a go.
