Is the Linkstation Pro Duo NFS capable?  I would like to use it for ESX.

Thanks.

Paul

This unit will not, however the new Terastations will

I just want to add my voice to those requesting this feature (kernel NFS).

The Linkstation Pro Duo is a NAS, it's Linux based, so why doesn't it support this basic (and native) feature like other Buffalo NAS devices?...

If it's for marketing reasons, I don't think people needing NFS will turn to more "advanced" and more expensive Buffalo NAS, they'd rather buy a same class NAS with NFS activated, from another vendor...

Why would I have to play "Microsoft Networking" game for connecting my Linux station to my Linux based NAS, when they can do it much better with NFS...

Thanks, Eric
