My Buffalo NAS currently have 4 8TB drives. I am running out of space and wanted to upgrade to 4 16TB drives. Anyone know if this NAS will be able to handle that? Is there a disk size limit?

I don't know what the size limit is.  I can say I have 18tb drives in my TS5400 and they work fine.  It should handle at least that for the 5410.  It's the older series like the TS3410s, TS3400s, TS-XEL, Linkstations and such that are limited to 16tb arrays.  Or 16tb drives in JBOD mode.

You have to make sure your trays line up with the screw holes though.  There are supposed to be SIX mounting holes on the bottom of the cages. But some of them only have 4, and one set of them are near the middle, which do not line up right for helium filled drives.  You'll see what I mean if you flip a bigger drive over and compare the screw holes with the cage bottom.

You may wind up in a situation where you can only mount the drive to the cage with 2 screws on the bottom because of this.

Just be aware of this possibility, and look at some pictures of drives online first to see what you'll need to do.
