Buffalo Portable HDD Lite Model:HD-PE320U2/BK

G'day,

Please don't ask me how or why but I have stuffed up and reformatted my HD-PE320U2 without first backing up the operating software etc.

Is anyone aware of a download available to recover the OS? I have tried USA and UK but my serial number "Invalid" and we don't appear to have this facility in Australia.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There is no specific software that you need to run this device that already isn't intergrated to it.  See if you are able to see the drive by going and right clicking on computer or my computer and go to manage, then select disk management, from there see if you can set the device up through the cdfs partition and the drive navigator.
