Hi

Just got my linkstation and love it. Got a problem though that i can seem to get the media server to be visible to anything, even my laptops, the authorized client list is blank.

1. I have upgraded the firmware to 1.62 (original 1.58)

2. my blue ray player can see both my laptops on the network ok and can stream videos/phots/music/from them

3. Blue ray is Sony BDM - S570, DNLA certified

4. Wireless router is Cisco 3925. Port 9000 is set as triggerred for UDP and TCP/IP

5. My laptops can see each other on the net and share files etc,.

6. i renewed the DNLA-IP

So can anyone suggest how i can get the wireless media streaming working, was half the reason i bought the unit. I *think* it may be a router configuration issue but i am not sure, nothing out of the ordinary seems to be going on - set up the blue ray by using WPS so i know the passwords and link is good here.

reset the unit to defaults (system -> Restore/Erase)

Thanks. I rebooted as suggested but still no luck. I can see and stream my laptop from the twonky interface adter reading through these pages, but only to my laptop. My bluray player still cannot see the server, but it can still see my laptops and connect ok vire the same wireless network

The only thing i did notice was upon reboot and reload of DLHA-Ip that the Twonky server showed locations when sharing was looked at, which it did not before, but besides that nothing. I was under the impression that you should not have to use Tonky to start streaming and the bluray/laptop could call for the file it wants to start rather than being pushed via Twonky? Unfortunatly i cannot see any manuals around to help with this issue as to how to properly set up the media server and what to expect from it..
