Gents,

During the installation I can't get any further then ''Confirm that the power LED (top) is on and that the link LED (bottom of the back) is on or blinking''. When I click on next, it takes a while, and returns to the same step (4). All the LED's are on. I'm running Windows 7, on a other computer (XP) it works. If you got any idea, please let me know!

Yes, I've turned off my firewall, and followed the previous steps.

Try downloading the Nas Navigator software directly from the Buffalo website and install that instead of using the cd installation. this should then detect the Linkstation and allow access to it. If the Nas navi doesnt detect the LinkStation, try disabling any anti-virus.

Now I can't even get access to the drive with a XP computer anymore. Anyone a solution?

Hmm, you didn't mention what software

Anyway. I would start with the XP system. Restart the LinkStation using the power switch, make sure you leave it "manual". Look in the NasNavigator and tell us what you see.
