Link Station Quad Web Access and iPhone 3GS

I have a 1tb Link Station Quad with two shared folders accessible to me via the built in web interface. On both my local and an external network on my laptop this feature works great. However when i try to log in via my iPhone 3GS 16gb i only get 'user is not allowed access to this share' even when logged in with my username and password. HTTPS/SSL encryption is off

Try it with "Allow all groups and anonymous"

is there any other way because i would prefer not to let anonymous users access my files, similarly with other users

In the least you will want to try it with the above mentioned method to see if the iphone will connect or not.
