I am trying to backup a one terabyte linkstation pro duo nas to another similar device on another network accross the internet.  I have done all the port forwarding on the two routers (one in my office and one at home)  I have even placed the ip address in the DMZ of each respective router.  Thew GUI of the storage device finds the device on the other network in the Linkstation list but will not show any destination backup shared folder in the disk backup menu of the GUI.  What am I leaving out?

What is the model number of each unit and the firmware versions?

Both machines are the same, purchased at the same time.  I am using XP, Leopard, and Vista.  The problem doesn't seem to be computer specific.
