apologies first off if i've not posted this to the right place...but i really need some help.

 

i just purchased a buffalo hd-ce1.0tu2 and i'm trying to backup files from my wife's MAC book...i'm not a MAC person so i have no idea what to do...when i plug the buffalo hd in to the MAC, the MAC recognizes it however i'm not able to copy/move files from her MAC to the hd...any ideas?

When you are trying to move files to the unit and you said it wouldnt let you  was it giving you an error messages or anything?  Is the unit still in the FAT32 format.
