I'm thinking about buy the 1HDD model (1TB) and adding 3 more regular 2TB drives to achieve 7TB (1+2+2+2).  I'll not be using the Raid feature.  I will also be hooking up a WD My Book Mirror to it via USB port.  My WD drive is 2TB but set to RAID1, resulting in a final 1TB usable capacity. The Link Station will be connected to my network with a CAT-6 cable directly to the switch.

My network consists of:

1 http://www.superwarehouse.com/SMC_EZSwitch_SMCGS16_16_Port_Gigabit_Ethernet_Switch/SMCGS16/p/612557">SMC EZSwitch SMCGS16 16 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch

http://www.superwarehouse.com/SMC_EZSwitch_SMCGS16_16_Port_Gigabit_Ethernet_Switch/SMCGS16/p/612557">2 Belkin N+ Wireless Routers (each connected directly to the switch)

http://www.superwarehouse.com/SMC_EZSwitch_SMCGS16_16_Port_Gigabit_Ethernet_Switch/SMCGS16/p/612557">One PC will be connected to this network via LAN  to the switch but the rest of the notebooks in the house will be connected wirelessly to the Belkins.

1 Logitech Squeezebox Duet (connected via LAN to the switch)

3 WDTV Live (connected via LAN to the switch)

1. Can this be done to achieve 7TB (1 orignal +2 new +2 new +2 new)?  Do I need to put in 3 more of 1TB?

2. What HDDs are compatible?  Any Samsung drives will do?

3. Will I be able to see the WD My Book Mirror drive?  I hear that Link Station's USB port only works with 1TB drive or less.

4. By setting the WD My Book Mirror to RAID1 (from 2TB to 1TB usable capacity), does this help making it visible on the network?

5. If I move my i-tune folder onto the Link Station, will it play on the Duet?

6. Will it play on any computers connected to the network with i-tune installed?

7. Will the previously created playlist work?

8. If I rip a new CD on one of the computer, can I chose my Link Station as the target to store the music?

9. Will WDTV Live work seamlessly with the music or movie files on the Link Station?

10. Can movies be watched simulaneously on all 3 WDTV's?

Thank you in advance for anyone's help.
