I have a Buffalo Terastation HD-H1.0TGL/R5. Today I noticed it was not visinle on the network. The NAS navigaqtior could not find it. It was showing full on the status lights. I was able to use the web browser to access it. It said there was an error and it could not access disc 1. I shut it down and when I turned it back on I get a constant blinking red lighton the upper left staus/full light. There is no pattern. I am guessing one of the drives (drive 1 I assume) has died. Does that sound correct? If I remove that drive and replace it with the same size drive will the RAID array rebuild itself? I had it set on RAID 5. Other thoughts? Thanks.

Once you replace the HD you have to go into disk management and check the box for the drive you replaced then click "rebuild raid array".

Thanks. I just replaced the drive and restructured the array. All data preserved and functionong normally again.
