The previous IT guy had a Buffalo Terastation Pro (TS-1.0TGL/R5) that I am trying to resurrect from the dead to be used as archived storage.  I have been having nothing but problems with this (which is probably why it was just sitting on teh shelf in my office).

At first, I was getting nothing, so I loaded the most recent firmware (1.04) and can now connect to it via NAS Navigator2.  Unfortunately, I am unable to browse teh shares (getting the error: confirm drive status) and I have done a complete reset of the device but I still cannot get into the web access URL.  I am not getting a prompt for username/password, just a browser failure (The page cannot be displayed).

Can anyone assist?

...and what's teh diffeence between the NASNavigator2 and the Client Utility provided on the setup disk?
