I'm thinking of buying Buffalo's DriveStation USB 3.0 HD-HXU3 but I'm wary of doing so because I understand I'd also have to install the USB 3.0 PCI Express Interface Card.  Because I know next to nothing about PCs I'd have a pc expert do it for me.  My concern though is whether or not the technology has been throrougly tested.

 

Has anyone actually bought the DriveStation™ USB 3.0 HD-HXU3 with the USB 3.0 PCI express card?  If so, what has your experience been?

I bought one and no one told me about a card that I would have to buy. I am struggling and cannot get it installed on my Dell running XP Media Edition. I have tried updating drivers usbstor.inf and volume.inf and still no luck.
