Can anyone say if the Drive Station1 TB USB 3.0 requires any special card or other specialized equipment?  I have 2.0 USB ports.  Will the Buffalo 3.0 work at the faster speed given that I have 2.0 USB?

Thank you.

I hope that we get a good answer because I am having the same problem...for the second day now.

Transfer speed (Logical value) USB3.0: 5.0Gbps**, USB2.0: 480Mbps, USB1.1: 12Mbps maximum

** A USB3.0 interface manufactured by Buffalo is required to use this drive at SS mode specified by USB 3.0 standard
(logical transfer speed 5.0Gbps).

If you use with usb2 maximum speed up to 480Mbps.

I appreciate your effort and your English struggles. I can live with 480Mbps lower speed for now (until I upgrade computer with USB 3.0 capabilities) but that still doesn't help me with my inability to install.
