My link station is running on a large AD Domain network and is setup as a workgroup with the same name as the domain for smb authentication.  I have some sites with this device where the Linkstation has become the master browser and does not contain information for the entire AD domain.  When users browse through My Network places - entire network all they see are machine on the local subnet.  Is there a way to disable the browser funtion on this device so that it will not win an election for master browser?

Unfortunately there is no setting available to stop the Linkstation from winning Master Browser. The only way I know of to get it back off master browser is to turn off the Linkstation, reboot a computer that is a member of the workgroup, then turn the Linkstation back on.
