I have a LinkStation Live and wanted to know if the unit supports Active Directory.

Which LinkStation Live model?  The newer ones do not support AD as they're consumer focused products.  The LinkStation Pro does however.  Some very early LinkStation Lives (oldest models) do support it on older firmware versions, but these firmwares won't support newer features like BitTorrent, Web Access, TimeMachine Support, etc.

UGH - I just got it today.  I have the HS-DH500GL.

No, the Lives do not support Active Directory, they are meant for home users. The Pro line of products was specifically designed for office use and Active Directory integration.

Thanks for the response - disappointing but I understand.  I would ask that you consider adding this as a feature enhancement.

Respectfully -
