LS210D in Emergency Mode - can ping it butLSUpdater utility cannot find it

I've got an LS210D that seems to have gone into Emergency Mode while I was in the middle of a large file transfer.  I can still ping the drive IP addr, and see that NAS Navigator2 utility shows the drive in Emergency Mode and recommends updating Firmware.

However, after downloading FW1.75, the LSUtility returns the message "The Linkstation that needs updating wasn't found".

Do I have any options here?
