Hi

I just got a Linkstation Live LS-CHL 1Tb NAS. I have it connected on my network. I have put a movie into the SHARE folder, and also made a MOVIE folder in the root. I switched on my PS3, and under the vido menu item can see the NAS drive in the list, click on it, it says Video, Music, photos, click Video and just shows no titles available. the video I have put in the folder plays fine off the PS3 HDD directly.

Where do I put my media for my PS3 to see it all? also am I able to password it all? or is it safe on my NAS drive? its just the NAS will be on all the time, and so accessible via webaccess?

cheers

Firmware 1.21 on Buffalo NAS, and my PS3 has latest firmware on to v3.15

MrMister, what nice it would need to be in m4v format. Could that be your problem?

The PS3 plays a lot of formats, its an avi file this one, and plays fine from the PS3 HDD on a USb thumb drive as I said above though.
