We recently ran into an issue with the Buffalo Nas changing the directory path. It was set at ip address but changed to a UNC path and it caused some issues. Not sure why that would change suddenly. The ip address is still active but certain things pointing to that path are no longer accessible. Any info on why that would change?

What you're saying doesn't make sence. The LS has both an IP path and a UNC (name) path. The name wouldn't change unless someone changed it but the IP might change depending on how it is set.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
