I have been unable to gain access to the Linkstation. I just recently bought this. I tried everything from going to EM (which i really dont know if i'm getting into it). FTPBoot, and direct connect. I read that the deault IP is .150 but i cant seem to ping it even when the Linkstation is connected directly. It appears that the system is turning on properly but no way to access. Help!

My Linkstation is model number LS-CH1.0TL-AP.

Thanks!

Which ways are you going about trying to access it?  First you need the Nas Navi Client utility.  You will need to see if it can find the unit.  If it can then there is just a few simple things you need to do to access the Web Admin and to map the shares.

To access the Web Admin just take the Ip address and put it in the address bar of your web browser.  The default username and password are admin/password.

To map a share using windows this is all you have to do,

Goto 'Start->'Run'. In the Run box type \\192.168.11.150 where 192.168.11.150 is the IP address of the NAS. Or, In the Run box type \\HOSTNAME where HOSTNAME is the Hostanme of the NAS. This will open a window with the shares. Right-Click on the share you wish to map and select Map Network Drive. You will then have the option to choose a drive letter. Once you have done so, click 'Finish'.
