I have an error whit LS-CH1. I can't connected whit my LinkStation :(

My LED is blinked, but the color is red, not blue. The code is 6 flashes - Hdd not recognized.

I make a TFTP boot, all is ok, but when I wan to make a firmware update is problem.

I downloaded Buffalo LS-CHL Updater ver.1.21, run the program... And my field is empty. I have a message: LS-CHL that needs updating wasn't found.

My LinkStation is in EM Mode when I run the program.

Make sure that you have all firewalls turned off and that you dont have Nas Navi 2 open.  IF that dosent work try to boot your PC into safe mode with networking.

How long have you had this unit for?  You downloaded the version 2.  Try the version 1.07.

Thanks for your answer, but doesn't work.

I deactivated all firewall, antivirus, protection... NasNavi is close. My PC is start in Safe Mode with networking, but I can't find the unit.

I can't download ver 1 of firmware because my serial number is invalid.

I've bayed unit from Germany last 2 months ago and I will stay in this country for just 4 days :( (I'm from Romania). I have no time to go with him to guarantee.

Yea you have to contact the regional support that the unit was purchased from.

I also appear to have the same problem, I can see my device on the network and conect to all my shares and through the web browser. But the NAS Navi can't find it nor can the Firmware updater? Strange cos it found them before I upgraded the firmware.

Uninistall Nas Navi and download the newest version.  Also if the unit is in EM mode then you should be able to either Flash the Firmware or Force the Firmware.  If the unit is in the e06 state again then I would suggest trying the TFTP boot  then try the Force Firmware procedure below.
