I've had my Buffalo NAS for a few years--kept it out in the "open" on a flat surface--yet somehow the darn thing started "Flashing" RED.  I could not locate any literature regarding the unit. All was good until about a week or so --now the NAS "Dashboard" can't "locate" the unit and it doesn't appear on  my PC (Windows 7) under "Shares".  It's an NAS LS-WVL142--Any ideas ?

Thanks In Advance

How many times is the red light flashing, what raid mode were you using and do you have a backup on a separate device?
