Hi,
I lost connectivity to the NAS a couple of weeks ago but just got around to trying to fault find it.

The unit powers up but the white light just keeps blinking, which the manual says means it's trying to boot.  No other lights appear so I can't determine an error code.

I can't see it on NAS Navigator2 and I cannot ping the IP address.

If I switch off the drive the white light just keep blinking and it does not shut down.

I can hear a pattern of disc activity that seems to repeat - like it keeps trying to read the disc and fails.

I assume it's a gonner - is that correct, or is there something I can do to recover it?

Cheers,
Geoff
