HI Folks,
I am currently starting to the process of repairing a faulty disc. I have a 1TB Terastation and have identified the RAID disc in question. The unit was bought in the UK and I now live in NZ.

A few questions:

1) How do I find the exact model number. I have the serial number.
2) The disc states it is a Samsung HD501LJ - do I need the exact part or will an equivalent do?
3) Has anyone heard of/used a company called 'CPU Medics'

Look forward to your replies.

/Alan.

1. It's written on the unit and starts with "TS".
2. Any disk of the same specs will work, same size, capacity, RPM, the cache can be larger.
3. No.
