Problems getting a TeraStation 7120r working on two subnets as NAS and SAN.

Hello!

Have a problem when I try to configure our TeraStation 7120r using two different networks and working both as a NAS/IP-SAN.
I have setup port trunking for all four networkp intefaces. Bond 1(ethernet port 1 and 2) and IP address 192.168.60.3 and Bond 2(ethernet port 3 and 4) has the IP address 10.168.60.6.
Bond2 is linked to our SAN network without Gateway and Bond1 is connected to our LAN with gateway 192.168.60.1. With this configuration you can not ping or otherwise accessing our TeraStation 7120r on the SAN network. Attempting to manually add a route in the web interface, you only get error messages that you can not do it. I change the gateway address on Bond 1 to 0.0.0.0 instead and then it works to ping other devices available on our SAN. But when I restart our TeraStation 7120r connection to our SAN disappers again and I'm back to square one despite the gateway address on Bond 1 is set to 0.0.0.0.
We have the latest firmware 2.43 on the TeraStation.

Does anyone have an idea how this problem can be solved?

I would recommend using ports 3 and 4 for iSCSI and don't bond them. Port trunking can actually reduce iSCSI performance.

Once you set that up you can go in and specify which ports are used by which protocols in the "Service Ports Restrictions" section of the GUI.

My best recommendation would be to not manage the unit through the iSCSI subnet.
