Due to previously posted issue we have a problem where a folder is now undelteable due to permissions.  We copied 2.5 TB of data to the 6 TB Quad, and now that data is neither accessible nor deletable.  I understand that the developers are working on a solution for the original problem that caused the issue (see my other post).  However we now have a Quad that is down 2.5 TB of it's capacity.

We need a way to remove the 2.5 TB of data that was copied to recover the space and copy it again as a workaround to getting the issue with permissions solved.  Currently if I attempt to delete the folder on OS X I get a pop up that says:

"The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8072)."

Thanks,

j

Did you have file permissions on the files before transferring them?  What kind of folder was it (a share or a sub-folder)?  Also what firmware are you running?
