DriveStation Eco wakes up/shuts down constantly

Hello,

 

My Drivestation wakes up and shuts down every five to ten minutes no matter do I use my iMac (while using computer, in sleep and idling). Is there any solution to "stabilize" that behavior? It's a bit annoying to hear hard drive waken up all the times..

 

DriveStation™ TurboUSB, HD-CEU2

iMac, Snow Leopard

Time Machine (timed to run every 12 hours - however the problem occurs no matter is Time Machine on or off)

If it does the same thing when you are connected to another mac or pc you do have a 1 year warranty on the device if you would like a replacement.  SOunds like there could be a hardware or firmware issue on this device.
