LinkStation Quad Streaming Multiple Users

My LinkStation Quad is having some issues with streaming or multiple computers accessing the NAS. It'll stop all traffic in and out for several seconds. Then the hard drive lights will go out and come back on and it'll then continue what ever it was doing. And it's not an issue of bandiwdth. This happens if two devices are pulling music, which is in WMA format. Basically if one person is accessing the NAS it's fine, but the minute a second person access' it, it all goes to hell.
