Linkstation Mini and Cyberpower UPS?

I've connected a Cyberpower UPS to the Linkstation Mini via the USB port.  The Linkstation Mini can "see" the UPS, as it reports the Manufacturer (CPS) and the Device Name (UPS CP850AVRLCD) correctly.  However, the Maintenance page does not allow me to select "Enable" - the UPS Connection Type drop down is greyed out and "UPS unconnected" is indicated.  I have tried rebooting the UPS, rebooting the Linkstation Mini, in several combinations - there's no change to this status in any combination.

How can I get the Linkstation Mini to recognize the UPS on the Maintenance page?

Linkstation Mini Model:  LS-WSGL/R1   Firmware Version:  1.06

Thanks!  - Jim.
