Hello,

I have the above machine which I have used for a while now, it has all my photos, videos, work backup on it etc and I can access these files from either clicking on "computer" and selecting the linkstation or using web access. I can view all my files without any problems.

The problem now is that I can't copy any files to the linkstation, I get the error message can't access "filename" check network connection. I have tried jpg, word docs, programs on my laptop and get the same message. I have tried "copy and paste" and drag and drop.

I am using the latest firmware for the linkstation 1.07.

My router is a netgear DGN200B

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1720.

All have the latest firmware/drivers installed.

I am using Memeo backup as well as drag and drop which is working. I have tried connecting using wired and wireless.

What capacity is the drive filled to?  Try moving files to a new mapped folder on the drive, and turn off all firewalls and antivirus programs.

The drive is filled to 129GB.

Made a new folder and copied a JPG (757KB) which took about 40 secs but at least it's working now.

I didn't need to turn off any firewalls or anti-virus so hopefully things are ok.
