Hello. for some reason my folders and files have different owners on them. some are set to admin, some are set to 'nobody'.

when i log in as an user, i cant affect the folders owned by 'admin'

(why admin owns folders i dont know)

i cannot send files or move them to and folder owned by admin

(the folder permissions vi athe WEB GUI is set to 'all users read and write')

if i set the folder to anonymous, i cant affect any files at all. if i set the folders to disable access security i still cant access any admin folders to upload or move files to that directory(ies)

how can i set the owner of the files and folders so that its all as a 'nobody' so i can properly manage my NAS?

In order to assist you further we will need more information.  What protocol are you using to access the folders?  How are you viewing the permissions?  What firmware are you running?  What OS's are you trying to access it from?
