Unable to detect LinkStation QUAD 1.0TL/1D after power outage

Please help.

 

Just bought linkstation quad 1.0TB included yesterday. Firmware version 1.11.

Running XP and VISTA, all using IP 192.168.1.X

Linkstation was configured to use 192.168.1.188.

 

I was able to access the web admin via http://192.168.1.188/" target="_blank">http://192.168.1.188 and the shared folders this morning.

Is there a problem with the unit.  From your post there dosent seem to be any issue.  If there is please give more details on it.

Opps sorry did not include the problem.

 

The problem is after power outage which happened on 30 Aug, I was unable to access the LinkStation. Unable to detect using NASNavigator nor access the webadmin using 192.168.1.188.

 

When I switch on the NAS, the power LED shows 6 red flash. According to the forum it says the harddisk is faulty. I bought the LinkStation Quad (comes with 1TB HDD) on 29 Aug. Therefore I don't think the harddisk spoil so easily, do they?

 

Please advice. What should I do now? Buy a new harddisk and replace it?

I did place an 1TB WD into the 2nd slot and configured raid 1 on them. Everything was running fine until the power outage, the 6 red flash begin to appear when i boot up the system.

 

Although the 6 red flash is appearing, I am unable to access the web admin page to view the problem. I removed the 2nd HDD and leave the original HDD that comes with the linkstation the problem still persist.

 

I remove all HDD and boot up the 6 red flash still there and unable to access the web admin.

 

No matter what I try I was unable access the web admin page.
