can someone tell me how long i have to wait for the rebuilding ? the red light is flashing now for more than 10 hours ?! how can i see that the rebuilding is finished i cant even hear some noise in the station i dont know is it working or not? please help me

 

 

model is hd-w1.0tiu2 r1 eu

What RAID was the unit in?  Whats the capacity of the unit, and how much data did you have on the unit?

   it was in raid 1 mode the mirror option, each drive have 500 gb and i have only 20 gb in the drive

It shouldnt take that long then.  Let it go for a little longer, if it dosent work then call our support line.

If you've got Disk I/O at all, this gets VERY slow.  Taken a full day for me.  As JoshC said, I'd call in if it never completes...but I'd at least give it a full 24-hr window.  The cpu on these boxes isn't capable of multitasking (i.e. access + rebuilding + scanning) very well, nor can disk drives handle nested access activities very well (Random Read/Write I/O isn't much fun, and even (Raid 0) can't make up for a pegged cpu :(

ah finaly its finished after more than 20 hours waiting this is crazy really but it worked thx for the help
