Link Station LS-WX2.0TL/R1 is behind a proxy an I can't get it to update DTCP-IP

At my work all internet traffic uses a proxy that requires a username and password. I somehow need to configure the IP address of the proxy, username and password on the linkstation..

 

I can't set up media server because I get this error:

While firmware updating, Media Server update can not be updated completely. Please click 'Update DTCP-IP function' button after establishing Internet connection.

I then press update and then it times out..

 

I only want to share media on my local network/subnet am I missing something ??????

P.S. dont mind editing a text file (since its linux I suspect this is what I have to do..)

Okay the model number was helpful, but what firmware and OS are you working with?
