The Link Navigator cd that came with my LS-L500GL will not load on my computer running windows xp pro 64bit os. Is there a patch, download or ????????

I'm using the external hard drive on my home network of three computers. The main computer runs on xp pro 64bit and the others run on xp home edition.

Thx for any help,

Tom

The software is not designed for 64 bit.  However the software is not needed.  You don't even need it to set up the device, however it does make it easier.  Use your other PC to set it up, then when you want to make changes to it from that point on just enter the IP address of the device in your browser window.

Just brought the current Link Navigator up on a 64bit XP Pro box, worked fine.

Showed me 3 units on the network, their info and the shares.

You may need to download a newer version of the LinkNavigator software.  I used 1.2.1
