Hello,

I have a  LS-WGPL/R1, and it won't works since a long while now.

At the beginning it was only in EM mode so at this moment I could do something, but as doing anything I'd pushed the FUNC button thinking it was for reseting, and the light became red.

Now my HDD LS can't be recognized by my PC, now I can't swith OFF it, cause when I try to switch off it, it keep switch on...

So I searched for an issue on the net, and I tried somes of this forum but no one worked.

I tried the TFTP boot, had a transfer but the LS keep being in E06....

Thanks for the help you will give to me,

Sorry for my bad english.

Kind regards.

I have never heard of this model number before.  Did you buy this in the US?  Can you double check that model number for me?

It sounds like you either talking about the LS Mini or the Pro Duo.  If you have a bad HDD for either of these units you can contact our support line for a replacement (if the units under warranty).

Sorry i made a mistake in the number.

Right it's a Pro duo the number exact is LS-WTGL/RI.

So... There is no way to make it working? I must give it back where I baught it to have a new one?

Strange story cause before  the E06 error, it was in emergency mode, and the EO6 appeared after a restart pushing the button FUNC.

Now, no way to go in EM mode...

It's boring...

I did the TFTP, ok.

Now my problem is that I see the LS in EM mode in the NAS navi, but lsupdater can't see it.

So I can't update my LS cause the button update is grey and not black...

Is there a way i'll could see LS with lsupdater ???

The LS is connected to my PC because my router use 192.168.0.X.

I have a probleme to fix the IP of my LS, when I put it on 192.168.11.150 and my PC on 192.168.11.1 the LS's IP change.

When it stay clean, I can see the LS in NAS navi but not with lsupdater.

Virus is Avast

Firewall XP disabled.

There is no way to specify the IP of the LS to lsupdate ??

Try booting the computer in safe mode with networking.  This will ensure that there isn't any software confliction.

Its worth trying 4b0nz, but if it is truely a bad HDD then there isn't much you can do.

Thanks all for your help, even if my problem isn't solved. I'll go to replace this LS (it's guaranted 1 year and I baught it on january).

Bye.
