Linkstation Live with NFS?

My model: LS-CH1.0TL-EU (LinkStation Live™ with BitTorrent). Firmware 1.07.

 

 

Because I have a very small transfer-rate, no video-viewing on my dreambox about CIFS is possible (stops-runs-stop). Is their any posibilty to run NFS on your model? Will a new firmware suuport NFS? Can I use an existing firmware of an other model?

Sorry but neither of our LS Live devices support NFS, nor do we have any firmware that would enable it for this device.  We do however have NAS that does support NFS.

What about NFS on my Linkstation LS-QL? I can't seem to find anything in the config.

   The linkstation quad does not have NFS. PS id remove your e-mail from public display if i were you.

Bah...I'd trade the Media Server, Bittorrent client, Media Server, and Time Machine for NFS support, since I don't use 'em and didn't even know it had them when I bought it. I mean, gads, it has Appletalk, but not nfs? Even my cheap little Smartdisk NAS has nfs :(

 

What devices do have NFS support then, considering the Linkstation Quad is the highest end device that isn't considered for "small business"?
