Have a issue with this one now, here the other day it went out on me, Diag blinks 5 flashes indicating ROM problems.. I have tried to put it into EM mode (Holding init button and power it on) power led, disk and diag led all flashes, then after 30 seconds it just powers off... Same if i try to just start it normally, power led flashes a while then just powers off.. Is there any kind of workaround for this so i can try and reflash FW and/or attempt to save my Data?? Have also tried the TFTP boot, goes nowhere, same issue still just powers down after 10-60 seconds. Hoping on a quick and positive response..

I am not seeing any E05 error for this particular unit, are you sure that this is the correct amount of blinks?  Where did you see that 5 blinks is a ROM error?

Well it might seem like i checked the wrong manual for this since those indicators shows in the LInkstation live, and when i now double check it with the HS-DGL manual i can not find it there anywhere.. Hmm, but yeah it still flashes 5 times tho

Well if the unit won't stay booted I would call our support for an RMA replacement (assuming the units within its warranty).  There isn't much troubleshooting that you can do for a unit that won't power up, beyond trying a different outlet.
