We have a WS5400RRS2 device that has stopped booting. There is a scrolling message on the LCD saying "Please Wait....".

I've got the image to deploy to it but it will not go past the "Please Wait....." message.

I've tried to remove the drives individually, and just have drive 1 connected.

Any ideas how to get past this message?

are you referring to the USB recovery image? If so it sounds like you may need to flip the switch on the back from "HDD" to "USB".

I believe that one has a VGA connector on the back too.

It's possible it's loading. But yes, make sure you flip the switch.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
