I'M NEW HERE, this unit is seen by my computer thru the NAS Updater but won't let me update the firmware says my firewall is on so i turn it off same thing no updates , so i put it in permissions on the firewall, nothing, changes, the ip of the unit is 192.168.51.11. So when i login to my router,should it see that it's connected? NEED HELP!!

You need UDP permissions and TCP.
Disable the firewall for the update
