TeraStation™ 5010 Series - Rackmount Rails Stuck

In a moment of non-thinking I took the rails to a TeraStation™ 5010 Series - Rackmount and slid them directly on the sides (without separating them). I have worked every possible idea I have to try to remove these things for the past hour or more and cannot get them to release. I notice the rails slide about 3-4 inches but that isn't enough to get to the button I need to push to release the rails.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
