Cant open folder

In Finder I can see the NAS in the Shared section, I can click on it and it says "connecting". It then lists the folders available, however when I select it to open the folder, Finder closes and I get the following error - "The operation can't be completed because the original item for "Shared Folder" can't be found."

reboot the nas
the start will check the disk or disks

which nas do you have?
