For some reason Time machine to my LS220DE604 has stopped working in the past few days.

I can see the NAS, I can click on the backups folder and see the sparsebundle.  (Should it say sparse bundle?) When I click on time machine prefs. and click on back up now it says preparing back up and then stops.

Any ideas?

Is it possible the unit is full? Not a mac expert I'm afraid.
**A single copy of data, even on a RAID array, is NOT a backup! Hard drive failure is not a question of IF, but WHEN! Don't take my word for it, take Google's!**
