Can LinkStation Pro Duo be used as a USB Drive?

   I am wondering if I can connect LinkStation Pro Duo to my desktop via USB and use it as a regular external USB drive without the network?

No this is a NAS device you cannot use it as a USB hard drive.  The USB ports are for printers and other external HDDs for backup.
