TFTP Recovery for Linkstation LS220D "firmware corrupted"?

I am getting the dreaded 7 blinking lights on a Linkstation LS220D.

From reading other threads I believe I need a TFTP Image (or something else and instructions how to install it?) to get it up and running hopefully so am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction please?

Hi - i have an LS410D0301. Same problem. Its a single drive system. I my case the 3TB seagate drive that came with the system failed. I plugged into my PC and ran a check on it and it was full of bad sectors.

Even when it was bad i could still see it though on NAS Navigator. I purchased a new 3TB drive figuring i could install that drive and just format it with the linkstation then get up and running. I already have accepted that my old data is lost for the ages. When i start up the linkstation with the new drive installed, i get 7 flashing red lights noting "firmware corrupted". It's not pulling an IP from my router, or if it is the router isn't showing it.

Please help!

Hello. I have the same problem.

You can get the stock firmware installed using the process mentioned in this post:

If you prefer to use TFTP you can use the files extracted in Step 1 with the TFTP process instead.
