LS220DE restart issues and errors

I moved my LS220DE NAS with two 3TB red WD hard drives to a different room along with the WIN10 PC it was connected to.  Now the NAS won't start up.  It acts like its trying.  The fan starts and stops and the power light flashes red very slowly twice as its trying to restart.  The disk 1 and 2 lights are also red, indicating errors on both hard drives.  I had a RAID1 set up.  Some of the forums and info have said to update the firm ware.  I have tried this as well, but the NAS navigator and the firmware updater from buffalo can't find the NAS.  I tried the manual reset with the button on the back, but that didn't work either.  I pulled one of the hard drives and connected it to the PC.  It shows 5 different drives that the PC says need reformatting.  I am a novice when it come to RAID arrays.  Am I missing something or is my data gone?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I tried contacting Buffalo, but there is only a sales number.  Thanks in advance for the help!
